Benny owns this gift shop at 376 Spadina. Benny is a personality-he has a quick wit. His shop is infinite, it's a treasure hunt. When we told him about the project Benny questioned whether art could make any difference if at all in this time. This conversation was another disheartening reminder of the hardship the community is facing. I think about years from now, what will be left of Kensington. What will it look like, what will the people of the future find, what did we leave behind? For now there is only now. Here's hoping for the best.
